Q. Is there a joining fee or membership fee?
A. There are no joining fees, ongoing membership fees or contract. You only pay for the sessions you wish to book.
Q. Do I need to bring a towel?
A. Towels are not available at the studio so I do recommend bringing your own sweat towel.
Q. Do I need to bring water?
A. I do have filter water at the studio so there’s no need to worry about bringing your own.
Q. Is there parking available?
A. The studio is on George street which is Zone C for those with a parking permit . The parking is a mix of permit only and pay and display. The pay and display is between 9am – 6pm with the bays mostly in the middle and the permit only bays at the top and bottom of the street. Pay and display is £1.00 for an hour or £2.00 for 2 hours with a maximum stay of 2 hours. You can also park in Morrisons car park which is to the rear of the studio where parking is £1.50 for an hour or £3.00 for 2 hours again with a maximum stay of 2 hours.
Q. Do you have changing rooms?
A. I recommend clients be ready to train when they arrive at the studio as I don’t have any changing facilities, but you can of course use the bathroom which is big enough to change in. Please note however that it is not possible to arrive early and change as I will most likely be with a client so any time you need to change will ‘eat’ into your session time. The same applies should you need to change at the end of your session, I would need to end the session to accommodate this.
Q. Should I warm up beforehand?
A. Warming up beforehand is not necessary as I will do this with you at the start of the session. Some clients like to run to the studio in preparation for their session which is of course fine but the warm up I do with my clients is directly geared and appropriate for the session I have planned.
Q. What public transport routes is there to the studio?
A. The nearest main bus routes to the studio are St James’ Street where you alight outside Morrisons or Edward street where you alight outside The Law Courts, and the studio is a few minutes from both.
